Avatar Sequel Postponed until 2017, Thoughts?

So James Cameron has announced that due to writing issues, and that he will be filming three Avatar sequels in one large run, there are delays. The first sequel was tentatively scheduled for 2016, but Cameron is now hoping for 2017. What do you think, is the news disappointing? Are you excited for the new films?

I liked Avatar but I certainly didn't think it was life-changing. I'll check out the sequels but I'm not bothered that they're delayed.
I couldn't care one way or another as I won't be going to see it.
I liked the first movie, but I'm not overly disappointed to hear the sequel/s will be postponed
Looking forward to it, I enjoyed the original.
I thought the first movie was pretty to look at but silly and a bit racist (heard it described as the Last of the Mohicians in Space). I probably won't bother with the sequels.
