Can you watch movies with only one actor?

They are rare, but there are a few - All is Lost is the most recent, and has very limited dialogue (for want of a better word - monologue) as unlike Castaway, where he talks to 'Wilson', there is no one for him to talk to. Monster in a Box and The Telephone are two others I can think of.

They do take a certain skill to hold your attention for the length of the film. Can you watch them, or do you pass?

I have watched a few of these. One that comes to mind is Buried with Ryan Reynolds. The movie was quite well done and Ryan did a great job, but it was a little tedious to watch.
I saw that too. Agree with you, that it didn't quite carry it, but worth it for the ending. I also find in these films, I start yelling at the character (like I need to make up for the silences) when they do something stupid or annoying...hee hee
That was a great movie

I have rarely seen one however, and I can't remember the name of the last one but I did not enjoy it.

It depends on who the actor is however I find the story is generally not as interesting, or rather, does not hold my attention, like a movie with more people in it -I think I would pass on any more.

Have seen plays with only one person and did not enjoy them -I like interaction between people.

I don't know of any such films.
I can't think of any more, but I liked Castaway
Yes I can.

It takes a few minutes to get use too, but the intense acting is a nice change.

There are only a handful of them, but I like the idea of one actor...sure is a lot for the actor to deliver, they always seem to choose wisely in the casting.
