The Flintstones has been made into two live action movies. Do you like seeing the characters as real people?

The Flintstones movies received a lot of bad press, but I think it is unwarranted. I think the actors did a great job at playing the characters, and the sets were fantastic. They were a little kooky, but what else do you expect from a Flinstones film?
Honestly, I haven't seen these films, but looking at that poster, I say they did a good job casting Fred.

They really did, although the second film - which is a prequel - had an entirely different cast. I think the first cast is better though.
I don't like when that's done. If you're going to do a sequel/prequel then you've just got to make sure you get the same actors, otherwise I don't think it works.

I think it is an extremely difficult thing to try to do and I personally would not be in the slightest interested in seeing it.

Flintstones WAS a fabulous show and I can still watch re-runs, however putting this comic character into a movie would just not cut it for me.

It would totally spoil it regardless of who was in it -it is gone -a great memory -why try and resurrect something so good?

No, they came off as desperate and unnecessary
