Your not really meant to take your own snacks to the cinema, but the snacks they sell are so expensive. Do you buy your snacks from the cinema or take your own? Do you have any at all?
We sure do.
No way are we paying for something that is double in price and more!
The movies are expensive enough.
We get ours from the supermarket before hand, and our drinks as well.
Then I take a bigger handbag, and in we go with our yummies.
I do not go often and does not worry me if the snacks are expensive once in a while -rather it would not stop me buying them.
I get annoyed that they are often almost double the price of a shop outside the cinema however have got used to this, and still buy popcorn or that lovely chocolate coated ice cream, but generally the pop corn.
I will usually bring a bottle of water in with me, but cinema popcorn is just something I cannot resist buying! That is actually one of the main reasons I will go to the cinema.
A bit of both usually, my 6yr old loves movie popcorn, so if I go with him, its pretty standard that he gets his kid-pack popcorn, juice and a chocolate bar. I usually bring my own little something in.
I usually take my own snacks and water, but splurge on a popcorn to share if I'm going with my husband. When I go with my friends, we usually skip the popcorn because even a small is too big for us to get through.
I always take my own water. Depends on long the movie goes for and what time of day I go to see the movie, I might already be full from lunch or dinner! So no need for snacks!
And yes, I can agree that snacks and drinks sold at the cinema are very very expensive! Sometimes I make my own popcorn and take that :)
No never. We only see arthouse films, at our local art gallery. The same film is shown on Monday evenings, Thursday mornings or Sunday at 2pm, when we go. They are not shown during school holidays. As we have breakfast & or lunch before we leave home, we don't need anything else to eat until dinner. (There gallery is only a 10/15 minute drive from where we live).
