Do you think Arnie is too old to reprise his role as Conan?

Arnold Schwarzenegger will be back…as Conan! Filming is set to start next spring, but Arnie hasn’t been in a Conan movie since 1985. He’ll be pushing 68 yeas of age come next spring. Here is what he looked like in the first Conan movie, back in 1982.



Arnie is still in awesome shape and he’s a great actor but do you think he can still pull off the role of a super-buff barbarian?

Unless he's playing a really old Conan...only cos of the costume...I went and saw his last film, and I sort of thought it worked (but I went with a lot of good will!)
The movie has a working title of "The legend of Conan" which doesn't say much but if they go with King Conan storyline from the Marvel comics, then it could work. In the King Conan arc, Conan is an aged king which I could see being cool.
Yes, definitely too old -although he is younger than I am, he is way too old for something like that and I never liked him anyway.

However he just is not right for Conan -he is actually not right for any role as he gets on my nerves big time.

An older Conan could be awesome like Cohen and the Silver Horde in the Terry Pratchett books.
