Have you ever wanted to be a movie star?

When I was much younger I was totally captivated by the magic of the big screen: so much so that I thought it would be rather cool to become an actor. After I left high school I applied for NIDA (National Institute of Dramatic Arts) in Sydney, but was so nervous on the audition day that I didn't even turn up.

Have you ever considered studying acting, or did you want to be a movie star when you were younger...or perhaps even now?

No, that is something I have definitely never wanted to do.

I would not like the lifestyle and as I cannot speak in front of an audience, I guess I would also not be able to act.

I prefer to watch on and see other actors and have no, and have never had, any ambitions in that regard.

I've always hated acting or doing anything in front of people. The dream of being a movie star is one that never grabbed hold of me.
No, I wouldn't have the confidence. My son might go down that path though
My grandmother always told me she wished I'd gotten into acting, and I actually considered it one point but more because I liked the idea of acting. I would never want to be a big star though, I like having some privacy.
I would for the money but would hate the public scrutiny

No, but have acted on stage for many years', when younger!
And I loved it!
Also constantly was on TV programmes, too!

But film, no, but there're many 'stars' I really enjoyed watching, & one in particular, who, IMHO, was just THE best!
