So we now have our first look at Solo: A Star Wars Story. This will be the second stand-alone Star Wars film, but unlike Rogue One, every Star Wars fan knows this character. Of course, Han isn't be played Harrison Ford, but Alden Ehrenreich. What do you think, is a Solo origin story worth telling? Do you think it will be a good movie?
I've watched the teaser, and I think the movie looks really good, however I've questioned from go if this was the right move for the Star Wars universe. Part of Han's charm has always been his mystery. We never really knew his motivations, and that made his character captivating. I'm still going to watch Solo, and I'll probably love it, but another part of me will always wonder if Disney would have been better off leaving well enough alone.
The trailer looks awesome! I am looking forward to this movie and engaging more in the backstory to Han, Chewie and Lando's characters. My only reservation is the casting of Emilia Clarke - no question that she is an attractive lady even without a blonde wig, but I do question the breadth of her acting talent.
