Since it’s December 18th release, Star Wars The Force Awakens has been knocking it out of the park, breaking record after record in terms of box office earnings. Have you seen Episode VII yet? If so, what did you think?

I am not a Star Ward fan; I have never been able to sit through an entire one of its films before. I only went to see it because my Dad wanted to. I actually enjoyed it; I liked the new characters, Rey, Finn, and BB-8, but I still was not interested in the previous characters. I don't like Chewie or Hans Solo that much. I also found the ending a bit underwhelming. There are two more episodes to come but I can't be exited about them because everything they set out to achieve in this film has already been achieved.
It does leave quite a lot of unaswered questions, like why the Skywalker lightsabre calls to Rey (is she related to them?), who Snoke actually is and where he comes from and whether/how Rey can defeat the dark side.
If you are a Star Wars fan then that probably is enough to keep you excited, but if you're not, then they are just a few speculations that Don't particularly bother me that much.
I was worried at first when Disney bought the Star Wars franchise, but was very reassured after seeing this moving that it is in safe hands and will continue in a positive way for old fans and a new generation of fans. I suppose the series reboot had to happen for those who haven't seen Episodes 4 - 6 in particular, but for someone who has someone who is very familiar with the Star Wars movies it felt a bit like deja vu.
