The Lobster is a 2015 absurdist comedy about a world in which single people have 45 days to find a partner or be transformed into the animal of their choice. It stars Rachel Weiz (of My Cousin Rachel and The Brothers Bloom) and Colin Farell (Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find them and In Bruges) and is directed by Greek director Yorgios Lanthimos.
The Lobster is currently streaming on SBS On Demand and Netflix. Have you seen it? If so, what did you think of it?
I saw it last week, and it is one of the strangest movies I've ever seen. Not for animal lovers or the very sensitive, since there are a couple of scenes of horrible things happening to animals. Other than that I enjoyed it, and found parts of it really funny.
