What did you think of Edge of Tomorrow?

I haven't seen it yet. My eldest daughter (almost 10) wants to see it, but I'm worried it's bit too mature for her (and definitely for her 7 year old sister). What do you think?

There's a lot of death and things exploding but I don't know if I'd say it was overly violent (but big war theme, obviously). But the alien and futuristic aspect take away a bit of the realism (of the violence). No sex and a bit of swearing but nothing much.
But obviously there is a bit of shooting at point blank range (to reboot) and if they get scared easily, it might be a little scary but I'd take a 10 year old...

Seeing Edge of Tomorrow is on my to-do list, for sure, but I'll be waiting until it's released on DVD. It does look awesome, but not awesome enough to entice me to a theatre.

It is better than the ad leads you to believe...

I didn't think I would like it either, but absolutely loved it! It's great to see a strong female character for a change and the whole idea of coming back over and over again to learn things he couldn't remember appealed to me.
