I haven't seen the second Amazing Spider-man yet but I love the first one. In my opinion, it is leagues ahead of the Sam Raimi Spider-man trilogy. Personally, I think that Sony is on the right path. Fans have been hoping for a Venom movie for years and the Sinister Six was one of the best super-villain teams around. If there had to be more pulled into the franchise, then I would say team Spidey up with another hero. He was a part of the New Avengers and the New Fantastic Four, but he also had some great team-ups, particularly with anti-heroes like The Punisher and The Wolverine - which for rights reasons obviously won't happen - and The Thing, which could happen as Sony owns the rights.
