What direction should the Spiderman franchise take?

Spiderman (2)      Sony (2)      Venom (2)      The Sinister Six (2)      The Amazing Spiderman (1)
So Roberto Orci, screen writer for the Amazing Spiderman, is out and now Sony is unsure about the third movie and the two spin-off movies they were looking at for Venom and the Sinister Six. Have you enjoyed the Amazing Spiderman thus far? What direction would like to see the series take in the third movie? If no Venom or Sinister Six spin-off, which Spidey related character would you like to see in a movie?

The Amazing Spiderman Annual #1, the first appearance of The Sinister Six

#The Amazing Spiderman
#Spiderman
#Sony
#Venom

I haven't seen the second Amazing Spider-man yet but I love the first one. In my opinion, it is leagues ahead of the Sam Raimi Spider-man trilogy. Personally, I think that Sony is on the right path. Fans have been hoping for a Venom movie for years and the Sinister Six was one of the best super-villain teams around. If there had to be more pulled into the franchise, then I would say team Spidey up with another hero. He was a part of the New Avengers and the New Fantastic Four, but he also had some great team-ups, particularly with anti-heroes like The Punisher and The Wolverine - which for rights reasons obviously won't happen - and The Thing, which could happen as Sony owns the rights.
Would also love to see more team ups. I've loved the new Spiderman series, but I think to take it to the next level, it would be great to team with some of the other heroes for something epic.
I absolutely think team-ups are the way to go. The problem is that Sony owns the rights to too few of Marvel's characters. I started earlier that Sony owns the rights to the Fantastic Four, but I was completely mistaken. 20th Century Fox owns FF, just like the X-men. Sony owns the rights to Spider-man and Venom, and that's pretty much it. That makes the likelihood of a team-up pretty slim. There are rumors that Sony and 20th Century Fox might team up for Marvel related endeavors but only time will tell.
