What is your favourite book to movie adaption?

Harry Potter is by far my favourite.

For me it would be a tie between the TV mini-series for Stephen King’s The Stand, and Stephen King’s It. While both were made for TV mini-series, they were considered extra-long movies.

I really do not have one!
I think the book is generally better and do not often go to see a movie of a book that I have read.
When I do I am usually disappointed.
