With Robin Williamís untimely death announced yesterday, I thought it was fitting that we pay homage to his wonderful and varied career. He played many roles from serious to comedic; he was amazing in each and every one of them. Which Robin Williams movie is your favourite and why?

It is so sad. Depression is a terrible thing, I know. I used to adore his film, 'Mrs Doubtfire' as a kid; I would watch it again and again. Its definitely my favourite he's been in.
I liked World According to Garp, and he really outshone everything and everyone else in Aladdin, Awakenings (My husband liked Fisher King which I can't remember though I've seen it). Good Morning Vietnam. There are so many. I think the best in my opinion however, is Dead Poets Society. Fabulous film and he was so moving in it.
I have to say Mrs Doubtfire -he was just so good in this one and at the time it was an unusual film.

He did star in so many that were both humorous and serious and the majority of them were excellents.

He was one of the "true" fine, adaptable actors of my time and i feel great sadness that a talent like this would take his own life. Though it proves money really does not help a lot of things.

Such an irony, a person who made millions laugh was so sad himself.
My favorite Robin Williams movie would undoubtedly be 'Mrs Doubtfire'.
The man was Amazing.

I loved all he did, and the first thing I said to my son was ''now who will make us laugh''.
I can not pick one movie, his talent was genius.
I fully understand depression.
