Stephen King is a household name, of that there is no doubt. This occurred partly because of his books and partly because of the movies that have been based on those books. There have been 59 movie adaptations of King’s stories, and that doesn’t include TV series. And there are still more being made, 9 movies are currently in production. How many have you seen? Which were your favourites?

I'm not interested in anything to do with Stephen King.
I'm surprised, even non-horror fans normally like his other movies like Stand by Me, Shawshank Redemption or The Green Mile.
I'm afraid none of those plot lines interest me.
Like Stephen King's novels, I find his movies are hit and miss. When they miss, they really miss but when they hit, it's a home run. The Stephen King adaptations I loved most were actually TV mini-series based on The Stand and It, but on the big screen I would have to say The Green Mile was my favourite. Tom Hanks and Michael Clarke Duncan were amazing!
The Shining! He is probably my favorite author and although the movie was quite different to the book. Jack Nicholson plays the part of Jack Torrence superbly. I also really enjoyed both versions of Carrie.
