Which film would you like turned into a musical?

After the success of Matilda and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, I would like to see The BFG turned into a musical.

Good question. I like your line of thinking Bryony, perhaps even George's Marvellous Medicine or The Twits - though that would certainly have challenges when it comes to staging.

I think it would be more difficult with the books aimed at younger kids because there is less material to work with.

And I just realised you asked which film you would like turned into a play. The ones I mentioned are not films. -.-

I do not particularly want any film turned into a musical.

I would rather have the original version, and find them far more interesting than when they burst into song every few minutes.

The Life of Pi .. although the movie obviously originated from a novel, I could see it working well as a musical
