Charles Laughton without a doubt. With stellar movies like "Witness for the Prosecution" "Spartacus" "Hunchback of Notre Dame" and the list goes on has guaranteed Laughton's place in film history. He had that "little something extra that Ellen Terry talked about". His acting method, in addition was superb, because you never saw him act. I call him "The Laughton Man" just as Ethel Merman is called "The Merm" out of respect for his talent.
